What I do
Would you like to know my responsibilities as a Product Design Manager?
At the highest, strategic level, I define the design strategy for a product. I ensure the design aligns with the company's goals and customers' expectations. I do a cross-functional collaboration by working with product owners, engineers, marketing, sales and stakeholders. This is to ensure the design meets user needs, technical requirements and the company's mission.
The medium level is about design management. I lead and mentor a team of designers, allocate tasks, provide feedback, and foster growth for team members. I create a design plan, define the scope of work and manage delivery. Another job is to think through and document improvements to the design process.
My everyday tasks related to overseeing the design process. I help the design team to ideate, research, analyze data, generate solutions, prototype and test. If needed and the product is quite complex, I perform some of these activities together with the team. As for the daily routine, I conduct the team stand-ups, demo sessions and retrospective meetings. I review design work, monitor progress and solve everyday problems. Plus, I communicate with clients and customers, acting as a company representative in terms of product design.
As you may see, my role is very responsible and intense. However, I really like it.

About me
I am a Product Design Manager who oversees the entire design process from ideation to production.
I have always been a versatile person who has great talents in the arts and, at the same time, in technical fields. Plus, I've always liked to take orders and manage things.
My journey in product design started more than 10 years ago. I went through all the stages of growing up.
Phase 1. UX designer. I loved designing user experiences of applications and software. It allowed me to deploy my strong creative, analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Phase 2. UX Architect. I led the entire design process of complex B2B and SaaS products. I helped build many products in Tech, Finance, Energy, Healthcare, Education, AI and other domains. I was passionate about meeting tough design challenges.
Phase 3. Product Team Lead. As an experienced and seasoned designer with managerial skills, I began guiding product teams.
Phase 4. Product Design Manager. Accumulating strategic experience, I moved to the management level. I love the thrill of breaking down both strategic and day-to-day problems. I enjoy collaborating and communicating with many talented persons with different ideas and points of view. I am delighted to be involved in complex projects and help people build products of their dream.
