A brief overview of my product design process
Product design and UX design are closely related, but they’re not the same. Product design focuses on the overall product experience — from concept to execution. UX design is related to how users interact with a product and how it makes them feel. Product design looks at the bigger picture, including business strategy, technical feasibility, and overall user journey.
Flexible, user-centered, and collaborative — balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. The key phases: Research, Problem Definition, Ideation, Prototyping, Design System, Graphic Design, Testing, Implementation, and Launch/Measure/Improve.
Yes, I absolutely use data analysis — it's a key part of making informed design desicions. I use tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar to see how users interact with the product. I analyze A/B test results to see which design performs better. I track key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rate, retention, engagement, or Net Promoter Score (NPS).
I help promote products in collaboration with marketers, though not in the same way. I design a compelling first impression, support launch campaigns, improve conversion, communicate product value, and help keep brand consistency.
My background is a hybrid of design, user psychology, and product thinking. I bring a unique blend of creative talent — in design, drawing, or visual storytelling — combined with strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, marketing and product management skills.
